Mass train delays in Brisbane after signal fault
Commuters heading in and out of Brisbane face up to an hour in delays on Tuesday morning because of a signal fault on the city’s northside.
The problem occurred about 5.50am at Eagle Junction station in Clayfield and repair crews were still trying to fix the problem more than an hour later, according to a Queensland Rail spokeswoman.
The Airport, Caboolture, Doomben, Ferny Grove, Redcliffe Peninsula, Shorncliffe and Sunshine Coast services have been delayed in both directions.
Some trains can get through the affected area, others have been suspended and cancelled.
