The motorcyclist killed on the M1 on Monday after a ladder flew off the back of a trailer being towed by a ute is being remembered as “a lovely person” who died doing what he loved.

The forensic crash unit investigation continues but police believe several vehicles, including the motorbike, swerved to avoid the ladder and the victim was hit by another vehicle as he did so.
