Most Queensland students will continue to learn from home despite new national health advice saying physical distancing measures were not “appropriate or practical” in schools.

The government plans to review the situation on May 15 but some restrictions on activity will ease at midnight on Friday.

From Saturday, members from the same household can leave home for a picnic or shop for “non-essential” goods such as clothing, and national parks will be reopened.
