Two Sydney women charged over alleged murder plot
Two women have been charged over an alleged plot to murder a man from Sydney’s east.
Police allege the 27-year-old Glebe woman and 28-year-old Balmain woman were planning to kill a 30-year-old man who is known to the older woman.
State Crime Command officers raided units in Balmain and Glebe on Friday morning and allegedly found cannabis, methylamphetamine, mobile phones, laptops and documents that will be taken into evidence. They were acting on information they received last month.
The police officers will allege in court that the women plotted to murder the man, though the plans were never carried out.
They were both charged with conspire and agree to murder any person and were refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
